About Me

Hi, I'm Ben, a junior software developer. My first experience with programming was an online course in Python which set off a professional spark. Coding challenged me to solve real-world problems, scratched my creative itch, and empowered me to learn constantly.
I recently finished a full time 13 week Coding bootcamp with Northcoders.
I am currently developing and reinforcing my skills further by following The Odin Project, a full stack web development coding curriculum which focuses on project based learning.

myGuide

A walking tour app for your phone! Create, update, delete and take part in tours from your phone.
The Front End was built with React Native and CSS.
The Back End was built with Javascript, NodeJS and Express. MongoDB was used for the database and all back end functionality was tested using Jest.

NCNews

A (Fake) News Website which allows for the sorting and voting of articles as well as the ability to post and delete comments on the articles.
The Front End was built with React and CSS.
